English Labrador dog comes from England, the appearance is generally different.

The English Labrador is heavier, thicker and fuller.

The American Labrador comes from America and is tall and thin. Labrador dogs generally have the following characteristics:

Its fur is short, stiff and waterproof, black, yellow or brown.

The double coat is smooth and not wavy.

Eyes are medium in size and brown (in dogs with yellow and black hair) and Hazel or brown (in dogs with brown hair).

Some Labradors have eyes that are green or greenish yellow, in silver dogs the eye color is usually gray.

As one of America's most popular dogs, the Labrador retriever is loyal, affectionate and patient, making it a perfect family dog. High intelligence, kind heart, and passionate about pleasing humans, making them the top choice for working dogs. Labradors are very playful, especially in the water, never wanting to miss a chance to swim. This passionate dog has a very good temperament, is trustworthy, friendly, friendly with children and calm with other dogs. Labradors need human leadership and feel that they are part of the family. This breed is very easy to train and is better trained from childhood. Adult Labrador dogs are very strong, train them from childhood not to dare to go out the door or fence before humans.

Labrador retrievers can become destructive if their owners are not 100% pack leaders or if they do not receive sufficient physical and mental exercise. The English Labrador is calmer and more relaxed than the American Labrador and the English Lab matures faster than the American Lab.

Height: Males 56 - 61 cm, Females 53 - 58 cm. Weight: Males 27 - 34 kg, Females 25 - 32 kg. Some male Labradors can weigh 45 kg or more.

The Labrador Retriever is one of the most popular breeds of dogs in the United States. The Labrador dog originates from Newfoundland, where this dog works to help fishermen catch fish that escape the nets and are trained to jump into cold water to help pull the nets. The specimens were brought to England in the 1800's by British ships arriving from Labrador. This breed is crossed with the Setter, Spaniel, and other types of Retrievers to enhance their instincts as hunters. Labradors are very easy to train and are not only well known as family friends but also excel at: hunting, tracking, retrieving, watchdogs, police dogs, drug detection, guiding the blind and the disabled, rescue and search, transport, agility, and obedience competitions.
